When I've tried to find the words
to only have them lost within myself
And I cannot bear to be without
though I poison all I touch
And I wish I could smile at myself
but I cannot find the strength
And I just want to laugh with you
but I find only nothingness inside
And you touch my hand and beg me to wake
You kiss my head and touch my heart
And I hear your whispers and feel your breath
I look to you and wonder why
You have those tears inside your eyes
And slowly realize I'm looking down
My eyes slide closed and skin turns cold
You clutch my head to your heart
And I wake again
Dusty cobwebs and phantoms
Wisp away as
| been away for awhile, but now I'm back. Lookin to fill this thing up. sadness tends to feed my creative spark, and I have had enough lately to fill my life with it. |
